April Schmidt
April was born and raised in the rural community of Caro where her parents taught her the benefits of a hard work ethic, the value of family, and the importance of being true to what you believe. She and her husband Joe recently celebrated 40 years of marriage, and until 2022 lived in Unionville where they raised their family.
They currently live in Hudsonville, MI near Grand Rapids, where April works at LIFE International, and Joe is enjoying retirement. (April enjoys not cooking every night). She is a graduate of Crown College holding a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry, with a Minor in Biblical Counseling, and a Master’s degree in Leadership development.
She will share her love of Scripture, Sweet Treats, and Quilting at the 2025 Spring Quilters’ Retreat.
