We are so excited to have you here with us for this special time of creativity, connection, and renewal. This weekend is about more than just crafts—it’s about embracing the beautiful truth that God is constantly doing a new thing in our lives.

Throughout our time together, you’ll have the chance to explore your creative gifts, deepen your faith, and build meaningful friendships with women walking a similar path. Whether you’re feeling weary, seeking new inspiration, or simply eager for a fresh start, know that you are in the right place.

As we rise up to a new beginning, let’s surrender the old, trust God with our journey, and step into the new season He has for each of us. May this retreat be a place where joy, peace, and creativity overflow!

Taylor Idema

Taylor Idema

Guest Speaker and Worship Leader

Taylor Idema is a passionate leader, creative professional, and devoted servant of God. She holds a B.A.A. in Political Science and Public Relations from Central Michigan University and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Strategic Communication at Michigan State University. Originally from Mt. Pleasant, MI, Taylor brings a heart for community, creativity, and faith to everything she does.

With over eight years of ministry experience, Taylor has led worship, served as a youth leader, hosted Bible studies, and organized trips and events for her college ministry. On this retreat, she is excited to share insights about three powerful women from the Bible who encountered Jesus.

In addition to her ministry work, Taylor is a professional graphic designer and photographer. She also hosts the Glory to Glory podcast and founded the Mt. Pleasant Gen Z Rally to engage and equip young people in their faith.

A regular attendee at Community Church in Mt. Pleasant and former servant at Radiant Church in Kalamazoo, Taylor’s energy for life and faith extends to all she does—from playing basketball to playing piano, and her love for the color orange. She looks forward to leading women in worship, creativity, and connection at the retreat.
