KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Barb "Bo" Bowles
Barb “Bo” Bowles comes to us from Tulsa Oklahoma; she grew up in Caro Michigan and was called to youth ministry in Tulsa in 1986. After 9 years of full-time ministry, she felt the Lord moving her towards women’s ministry in both leading worship and study, Bo longs to share her passion for God’s word (merged with her love for Jewish history and politics) to show the completeness of God’s truth in both the Old and New Testament. Bo has taught at Bay Shore Family camp and was the bible study leader for summer camps, conference workshops, retreats, and weekly bible studies in both Oklahoma and Michigan. “I believe in the essentials of the faith – Jesus the Christ, son of God, crucified, buried, and risen. I believe in the inerrancy of scripture, the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, and the promise of Christ’s return. I believe that the goal of the Christian life is to be fully discipled so that our words, actions, and life story glorify the Lord and bring a living gospel or “good news” to the world around us – both globally and locally. In short, I love the Lord and live to get the Word out!

Bible Study Leader
Study: Mark 6: 31-32
Workshop 1: Mark 6: 31-32: Then because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, Jesus said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” So they went away to a solitary place.
Jesus cared!! He already knew what they needed and provided the opportunity to fill their wells.

Study: Restoring Godly Body Image
Workshop 2: We know life is much more than our physical bodies, and yet our preoccupation with our bodies can take up so much of our mental energy throughout our days. What qualifies as a “healthy awareness” without falling into obsession? Does God have any opinion about our bodies? What does the Bible say about it? These are hard questions that many of us struggle with continually. Together, we’ll see if we can shed some light on this topic. Lets begin to recalibrate our view of our bodies and relearn the truth of God’s good design.
Allicia Wesson
Allicia has been around Bay Shore since 2008 as a camper, then counselor, and then leadership staff member. Originally from Marlette, MI, Allicia now lives in Saginaw with her husband Austin, her son Asher, their dog Max and cat Judy. An active member of her church in Frankenmuth, she serves as an elementary Sunday school teacher. Every summer you can find her at Bay Shore teaching dance, speaking or finding any excuse to be there.
